2nd Glasgow Food Summit, September 2023
We hosted the second Glasgow Food Summit at the Glasgow City Chambers on the 6th September 2023. The event was a follow-up to the successful Food Summit held in May 2019, which initiated the development of the 10-year Glasgow City Food Plan (GCFP) launched in June 2021. The 2023 event was funded jointly by GFPP partners Adam Smith Business School and Glasgow Centre for Population Health (GCPH). You can read the full event report here.
Food Redistribution Roundtable Event, February 2022
We hosted an informal discussion with community organisations involved with food redistribution to gather opinions about the way food redistribution is currently organised in Glasgow. You can read more about the event here.
Glasgow Food Policy Partnership Development Day, August 2021
After launching the Glasgow City Food Plan we invited new and existing partners to a development day to discuss how the the partnership should be shaped after being tasked with the delivery of the food plan actions. You can read more about the day here.
Glasgow Food Strategy Development Day, December 2019
Following on from the Food Summit, our newly formed Glasgow City Food Plan team invited over 70 organisations to take part in developing Glasgow City Food Plan. 6 working groups were formed during the event to develop actions of the plan. You can read more about the day here.
Glasgow Food Summit, May 2019

Food Policy Learning Event, 20th December 2018
Dr Helen Crawley from the First Steps Nutrition Trust will came and speak about the city wide food policy in London. The event brought together other potential partners and interested parties from the Glasgow City Council and relevant organisations.
