The 4th Edition of the Glasgow Sustainable Food Directory was launched on the 16th November 2025 in Five March, one of the venues listed on the directory. It has been developed in partnership between Glasgow Food Policy Partnership and Slow Food Glasgow and funded by the Glasgow Centre for Population Health.

The aim of the directory is to showcase the most sustainable restaurants, cafes and food shops in the city via an interactive map and an easily downloadable directory. All of the venues have been included based on the environmental sustainability and healthiness of the food on offer along with their wider societal impact. All applicants have filled an application form which has been graded by the directory team against the inclusion criteria, which was revised for the 2025 edition. Only the venues that meet 70% of the maximum points available have been included.

You can find the latest version of the Directory, the rationale behind it, and more information on the Directory website: Glasgow Sustainable Food Directory – Slow Food Glasgow. The pdf version is available below.

The Glasgow Sustainable Food Directory Team have also created a sustainability toolkit with resources which can help businesses on their journey to becoming more sustainable. Check out the March 2025 version HERE.
